MORRISON MUD PRODUCT DATA

DRYADD is a finely graded copolymer especially designed to dry up geotechnical and environmental liquids, self levelling soils, silts and sludges, in order to allow the material to be stacked and handled as a full payload solid (see photo) rather than a reduced-payload, troublesome self levelling substance. - Very rapid clean-up with negligible bulking (less than 1% addition in most cases)
- Does not affect pH.
- Allows full payload muck-away.
- Generally acceptable for spreading to farm land.
- Imparts beneficial water-retaining properties when used in agricultural spreading.
- Renders hazardous material much safer to handle and store.
- Allows muck shifting to run to schedule even when normal drying cycle is impeded.
- Allows higher-angle stacking.
- Can permit use of standard earth moving equipment instead of tankers.
- Suitable for mechanised application.
- Biodegradable; non toxic.
Normal treatment for self-levelling sludges: 1 to 5 kg of DRYADD POWDER (2 to 4 kg of DRYADD LIQUID) per cubic metre of spoil. Can be sprinkled on muck using excavator and worked in, or introduced via an appropriate in-line mixing process. Low solids feedstocks may require higher levels of treatment. Non toxic; biodegradable. FFP2 mask recommended when handling the powder. MSDS and COSHH advice available on request. Powder: 25 kg sack; "Big Bag"; Bulk. Liquid: 20, 60, 200, and 1000 kg containers; bulk. |
